With the electronic GRX Di2 RX815 11-speed rear derailleur at Ultegra level, the Japanese bike industry giant launches the first gravel-specific shifting system for your gravel racer. For this, the clever developers at SHIMANO have used the long proven Shadow RD+ technology from the mountain bike sector, featuring a friction damper that slows down the forward and backward movement of the RD-RX815 Di2 rear derailleur. This significantly reduces the risk of chain bouncing and jump off and shifting into the wrong gear, while significantly reducing chain noise. This guarantees silent, smooth, precise and reliable electronic gear changes in challenging terrain. Whether riding off tarmac roads and on dusty gravel roads, going on a bikepacking adventure with lots of luggage, doing classic cyclocross or simply commuting to work.

The GRX Di2 RD-RX815 rear derailleur with a short cage is designed for all single and double chainring drivetrains including 11-speed SHIMANO road cassettes with 11-30, 11-32 or 11-34 teeth.
